Beginner divers and snorkelers will discover Gilutongan Island, a marine sanctuary, to be an excellent spot to practice. The coral island is low-lying and only ten metres above sea level. Next is Caohagan Island. This island is a great spot to snorkel because of its abundant marine life. This island is a habitat for a variety of fish, and it’s a great spot to take photos as well. And lastly, Nalusuan Island. This island, which measures around a hectare, is situated between Mactan and Bohol. Here, you can unwind in the sandbar area and swim with the fish.

During this tour, you can expect to visit three different islands: Gilutongan Island, Caohagan Island, and Nalusuan Island. Each island offers unique experiences, such as practicing snorkeling and diving at Gilutongan Island, exploring the abundant marine life at Caohagan Island, and relaxing at the sandbar and swimming with fish at Nalusuan Island. GILUTONGAN ISLAND

Gilutongan is one of the islands comprising the Olango Island Group, a group of islands in between Mactan and the Danajon Bank in the Philippines. Most of the Olango islands are part of Lapu-Lapu City, Gilutongan, however, is under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Cordova, Cebu.[1] The island is approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) southeast from the town of Cordova.

CAOHAGAN ISLAND

Caohagan, or sometimes spelled Cawhagan, is an island located in the Cebu Strait in the Philippines. The island is one of the islands that constitute the Olango Island Group, a group of islands off the coast of Mactan Island.

NALUSUAN ISLAND

Nalusuan Island is a home to a rich coral reef ecosystem and many fish species, and prepare for the ultimate snorkeling adventure. Discover an island famous for its long wooden bridge and incredibly clear water.

MACTAN SHRINE

Situated on Mactan Island where the famous Battle of Mactan occurred, the Mactan Shrine commemorates Lapu-Lapu and his warriors’ victory over Ferdinand Magellan in 1521 by featuring a monument depicting the first Filipino hero raising his bolo against the foreign invaders to protect his people and their independence.
